Top Gear USA! Anyone caught a glimpse yet?

Evening all,

Seems asthough the yanks have decided to have a crack at Top Gear. Just managed to catch the end of it on BBC Three now. Sorry if its already been posted just thought i would share the news  :grin: seems to have all the bells and whistles of all the funny video angles and effects but alot more extravagant  :nerd:

Thoughts/Views?

thought it was pants to be honest. They haven't done a single original thing to make it differ from uk version. the presenters are sh1t aswell. dum yanks just spouting on about vipers, they wouldn't know a good car if it ran em over.

I wonder how long it will last. No idea why the BBC wouldnt have just put the money into making some more "normal" Top Gears with Clarkson and the gang. Or even just a couple of specials before Christmas.

It's called franchising and I suspect you'll find it doesn't cost the UK BBC anything.

Done by BBC America thats why they doing the same sort of challenges etc.

I quite liked it to be honest, the 2nd series was alot better than the first one too. At least they've got a proper driver!

Lol where have i been then i didnt even know that they made a first series of Top Gear USA :lipsrsealed: Wooops! lol. Ill have to find some more on t'internet then have a few more watches it'll probably grow on me but just not the same wit as the gd ol' UK Top Gear  :grin:

I thought it was crap you need Hammond Clarkson and James thats what makes our show what it is.
