Any advice out there regarding 1.8T lump in to a vento 2.0l 8v i.e.  what intercooler fits the best ? etc  anyone come across any major probs / pitfalls
I have read that the AGU lump is the one to go for . But does anyone know different? :undecided:

if you plan to spend lots more then just the initial payment for the engine then the AGU has a slight advantage over the others. If you want power out of the box with 300bhp possible then buy a 225bhp lump on day 1. The AGU lump will need new injectors, fueling system and turbo to get it up to where you'd be already with a BAM lump. If you're going IHI route for 350bhp+ then get a AGU lump as you'll have to replace the aforementioned anyway.

I'm running a AUQ lump in the dodgyiest conversion ever, but I've fixed most of my problems and it runs sweet and reliabley everyday now.

There is lots to read about the engine. I advise you read it before parting with your cash. I wish I did now!
