Who knows the cheapest day insurance??

Well..for an old vw. so far found dayinsure for about £20.

Anyone cheaper??

I only have a UK licence for about a month..so keep that in mind...

I've used ecar before and that's the cheapest I found. Most companies state u have to be 25 or over though, and I'm not sure if u have to hold your liscence for a certain amount of time too.

£20 is pretty damn cheap to be fair!

yeah it is cheap but the guy who was selling the car let the MOT run out and has declared the car SORN. Actually I checked and it is about £30 quid. I'm taking a real gamble on this car as I don't know what it will need to pass the MOT. It might be money just thrown down the toilet. But hey, if you don't take risks in life, then what's the point of  living???

No tax, no MOT SORN. What a risk...

Why? If he has insurance and is driving to a pre-booked MOT he'll be fine. He can't tax the car without a current MOT so there's no other way around it :wink:
