scirocco leather
« on: 16 October 2011, 21:43 »
Picked up what i thought was a set of mk2 seats in leather only to find they sit a lot lower. Stripped one down to swap with the much better looking subframe off my old seat and found out that they re completely different inside the seat which is where i found the sticker with scirocco written ont it.
They slide in ok but the slider handle doesnt fit onto the pin on the middle of the seat so it cant pull the pin, almost as if the pin in a scirocco is smaller in length. The handle is right up as far as it will go but cannot pull the pin out to slide the seat. Tried the handle off the golf seat because its angled different and its longer which would work but now i cant screw it to the seat.
Anyone else fitted these and if so, how did you sort this?

ok thanks for that. Ill have to find a way to get the slider to work. Quick search on google last night says they re direct fit which is clearly not the case. Rear bench went straight in though which was a surprise.
