Next plans are to get a hybrid specific map for the car, then a DSG remp, uprated rear brakes, full engine mounts, uprated forged pistons and rods, DSG uprated clutchpacks and a few more bits.

Top speed achieved was 142.97 mph ( showed as 160 mph on the speedo )
the 10% extra reading gets a bit more significant at those speeds! Presumably there was more to go on a longer strip?
There was a little more to come, but once over 140mph the speed creeps up slowly. The useable part of the airstrip for acceleration is 1.2 miles, but you are braking before the marker as there are huge water filled buttresses either side of the marker and then an offset gap 100 metres after that. The brakes on my car are good, but at over 140mph you don't feel like risking it too much. On the flat with the same room I reckon over 145 easy and maybe 155 given enough distance.
