Looks like my inexorable quest for bhp is getting the better of me again. Pulling the trigger on a new uprated hybrid turbo!

To start with I'm going for the Loba270 hybrid turbo. If all looks okay with this then I'll look at a larger Garrett. Unfortunately with this engine and gearbox you have to take baby steps

I've seen that and it will have the heavier engine and box plus AWD making it a good 150kg heavier. 5.7 seconds to 60mph and mine is already 5.1 before the rest of the mods go on. I still like it though!

I really don't like the look of the A1s. Polo looks the nuts tho!

Shame they never dropped the 2.0T block into the ibiza cupra's over wise I'd go out and buy one!

Plus audi have been banging on about that quattro A1 for ages, finally good to see it. Except I think the A1 is ugly especially the back end, I would choose a polo gti or ibiza for looks anyday.

Polo .:R is due out in the second quarter of 2012, so I reckon it will have the same set up as theA1 quattro with a little less power as normally happens

What do you mean by this? You have to fit a smaller hybrid to let is get used to that then smash the monster one in? Can you not just bang it in and map it accordingly?
