Ferodo v EBC Yellow Stuff

Hi Guys

As it says above. Time for my first front pad change and I just wondered what you guys thought between the two? Is it also true that they don't have the brake sensors on them?

I don't rate the EBC pads.

DS2500 pads are very good, but a little pricier than OEM pads.

ED30GTi - would you rate these over the OEM pads? I am due changing front and back pads on my Ed30 very soon and was just going to stick with OEM tbh as i had heard that they are about the best. Is this little fact not true?

The DS2500 (I opted for the race material over the fast road) are fantastic, a big improvement over OEM in my view. Yes, they are expensive, but it saved me the cost of putting S3 brakes on the car they were that good.

Thanks guys...seems like a no brainer then! DS2500 it is then

Is there a big difference between the race and fast road? The car is capable of running 315bhp but I have detuned it to 270bhp until I sort out the brakes issue. I originally wanted to get the 'R' set up...just can't get them at a decent price thats warrants buying them

Am I also right in saying they don't have the brake sensors either...anyone find this a problem?
