Exactly!!

I will get another mk3 at some point. Might try a 16v next time or a VR if funds allow.

the Mrs is going mad, what do you guys reckon?

Is than on an unrelated topic, or because you want a mk2?!

A remap for a bit more poke may liven things up a bit, is that a 180bhp engine is it? I suppose it should be good for a giggle as is though....

Strip the sound deadening out, that'll make it more like a mk2, and thus more fun!

AUM is 150bhp. Get it remapped and see how you get on. All MK4s need to remapped.

You sound genuinely devastated at your lack of MK2, I feel for you.

If you don't want a faster car you mean. After a remap, bags of torque.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

Thing is, a mk4 needs £100's spending straight away on a remap and suspension to get it to feel even slightly GTI'ish. Even then its always gonna be seriously characterless unless you spend £100's more on more personal mods.
