When I took it to R-Tech for a health check and 007p, when put on the rollers with the APR stage one map for 95 ron fuel it ran 175BHP and 204lbft at the fly. Nick told me there was nothing up with the car, hoses nor map, just the map was a modest one and the car was hitting everything it requested. If it was running significantly less this time then I dunno what was up lol

I was tempted to have an R-Tech map on when Nick plotted one of his maps on a standard car with a stage one map over my own RR run but it was such a reliable good engine I kinda wasn't too fussed about 15 more BHP with the milage going up and everything.

I have more power than that anyway now and a much quicker car which is far more capable on the bends and am real happy with my new car but the Golf was a good one and I'm sure Matt will be pleased with it, especially with more powah now :D I think if it was on much less milage I'd have had a ko3s, TIP and a stage one R-Tech map on there.

Its a rocket now, the guy is over the moon.  I knew it was your car as soon as it pulled up,

Did you notice the power loss since last time? or did you change the settings via the cruise control?

No mate didn't really notice anything, although to be fair I pootled around in it before I got rid as I didn't wanna break it.

The cruise control wasn't working properly since I snapped my clutch pedal well before visiting you in March, changed nowt really just drove it and kept it well serviced lol. Matt was aware with any problems on it, but didn't notice any power loss, would have thought I'd have noticed 20 brake down.

Glad he's happy though, tis a good car despite the milage and he's a sound guy so it's all win :) His bro said he knew you and had used you on his black Golf as well so it's nice and nearby to you guys for fettling now.

When Matt had it up for sale I was tempted to have it back, I've had a Civic Type R since I sold the Golf and it's been a pain! lol quicker car but I miss a bit of boost, probably moving on to a Focus ST next.

Can tell you all the bits I did when I had it if you wanna know more about it fella, spent a lot on it! :)

I spent over 2k on it fella you'll have most of the receipts if you're lucky :) A lot of it was maintenance really and exhaust, clutch conversion etc but I want my cars run spot on so aren't afraid to spend (Civic has had 3k in about 16 months! lol), was a good car all things considered, miss it a bit :) Should do you well, it seems to just soak up the miles like mad!
