dubs are easy try racing a classic race bike and then do the blagging  :evil:

my engine is going to the builders over winter and she cant belive it costs £200 (try £2000) and that a new crank is £400 but luckily someone is giving me half toward it (try £1400!!)

she was actually relieved when i bought the mk1 lol

£800!!!??!!! Jesus I'm spraying my mr2 myself and it's only costing me £200 and that includes firing s body kit and fillingt out

Lol only just seen all these replyes. Right i got 2 tyres a mate sorted me out, temp sensor is ok managed to get some rear disks and pads both sides for £25 quid which i thought was bloody good. So went out at the weekend in the car came back and the fooking rad has got  great big hole in it and is wazzing water every where so got one today for £35 fitted it after work and guess what the bag of sh!t wont start so i dont know if ive caught a wire or some thing, then it started so took it for a drive round my mums went back to it and it wont start, got it going again and the wifes really pissed :)

You need to remember that they probably do the same to you! I know my wife does. She bought a new jacket the other week that apparently cost her £55. Funny how I find the invoice saying it was £85!!! Cant really say much as I do exactly the same when it comes to modding the car. Her - "Is the front of the car new?" (grille), Me - "Nooooo! Its been like that for a year since the day I bought it! :rolleyes: :lipsrsealed:". Her - "Oh, I never noticed"   :grin:
