Right so winters on its way were skint and the wife has told me that i cant spent owt else on my Mk2 golf. It needs two tyres on the front as there dog and ducked    the rear breaks need doing as there down to the metal  and it needs a temp sensor. I can do one of these things shes told me now lol

You can't do only one, as there are two things which are potentially dangerous.

Get a new wife.

My Wife has said something similar before, told her if it all doesn't get done and there is an accident because of work  that needed doing and wasn't how sh!t would she feel... she changed her mind after moaning. Lots.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

most girls don't know anything about cars except for the colour and that they need petrol now and again

so tell her that you adjusted everything to make it work

and  sadly the police stopped you about the tyres

My G/f didn't notice when I changed the headlights and put the anni kit on it

I'm getting an earful at the moment because I just told her I'm spending a day at Carbon Chiptuning in a week or so to try and fix a potential boost leak....of course the boost leak is my fault because I 'shouldn't have got the remap in the first place...it was fine as it was'

My missus moans like f**k at me because I'm always doing something to it on weekends. I tell her the only thing I have done is change the suspension, and changed the alloys. I then tell her to shut up and stop moaning for no reason
When infact I've done loads of things to it and because she aint got a clue about cars and can't see the changes, I get away with it
