R32 / Bora illuminated heater vents
« on: 12 October 2011, 22:43 »
Hey there!
I've just bought some of these beauty vents, now not entirely sure if I've got everything.
There is one wire coming off each vent, I took my current vents out and couldn't see where I'd plug them in, do I need another wiring loom? If so does anyone know where I'd get this from?

Thanks

Martin

Easy to make, a bit of thin Twin cable, sum spade connectors and a coulpe of tap in connectors (if thats what theyre called!!!) fiddly but tap into dash dimmable cable from behind headlight switch and run cable to all vent outlets there is a how to but cant find it on thos poxy iphone!!!

Has anyone got the part numbers for the Bora illuminated vents??? They seem to be going to quite a lot of cash on eBay so I am wondering what they cost new.

I have read somewhere that you need a removal tool to get the original vents out if this is the case anyone got the part code for that too?

nope. screwdriver and torx tool is all you need. and the screwdriver is optional.

vents pull out then 2 screws and there out.

passanger side just pulls streight out.
