A good example...a very fast car for the Playstation generation where the car does the majority of the work.
I will re state the car that's the exact opposite of the GTR - the GT3/GT3RS...an organic driving experience for those who love to be involved  :wink:

Why do Porsche not fit PDK (DSG) to the GT3?
2 reasons...weight and lack of involvement.

DSG may be faster (it is...) but it's not involving or organic in it's exacution.
You pays your money and makes your choice.

But the driver gets out feeling like he's finished playing on his playstation...whereas the driver of the GT3 gets out wired, as if his own DNA was involved in the car.

You don't buy a GT3 if you are chasing willy-waving power figures or 'ring times...you buy it to give the biggest buzz and maximum involvement to to the driver.

It is a shame that gearboxe will eat itself sooner or later due to a tiny design flaw  :lipsrsealed:
