iya iv just sold a civic and bought a mk4 golf 1.8 turbo :D so im new to the golf scene i just wanted to know how to get around 250-300bhp on stock internals how much ? and how to go about it its completly standerd atm

I would run it for a month or so and make sure all is well, if so then get a stage 1 map, forge d/v and pipercross panel filter, this will get you 200bhp, try that and see what you think, if you want more it will cost lots.

ok thanks mate. what about an decat and front mount ? what psi can i turn the boost up on stock ?

Only really needed if running stage 2, a remap will take the boost to around 14psi, do not just turn the boost up it will only end in tears.
