Anyone going to the GTI festival at Santa Pod next weekend?

Weather dependant i was thinking of going, is anyone else?

2018 Audi S5 Sportback, pano roof, LED Headlights  B&O sound system - gone

Current 2020 Golf GTI TCR, pure grey, pano roof , 90% tints and Akrapovic exhaust.

Im going if its a nice day as forcast. Bit of a trip for me though but worth it for a go on the track.  :evil:

Went for a couple of hours this morning, was just crossing where the cars line up to do the drag runs and saw this number plate I recognise.... GTIIANS, so I snapped him going down the strip. Got to say, was a good turnout, more than I had thought, but not many MK6's there :cry:

Ha Ha, glad you recognised me. I raced the R32 twice and I did struggle with the set off with the DSG box but im happy to say I bet him over the finish line! My fastest 1/4 mile was 14.8 secs at 98 mph. I saw another 5 dr white mk 6 and a left hooker 3 dr also in white and a black one thats all. Was any you?

I was parked up round the back, me & my lad saw you as you were lining up for your run. We got a few looks being the only mark 6er parked up as far as I could see. I didn't realise until I got home that the GTI forum members had got a stand otherwise I'd have asked to come round. Was good to see at least one of you boys there, shame we missed meeting up with the other guys.
