think the maf is on its way, slight rough idling at 900rpm but put the foot down and no hesitation till redline. got home at 6 so i unplugged the maf and took her around the block,no rough idling and pulls like a train, this has to wait till payday i think.

Sounds like the maf has died, go for a Bosch / genuine unit.

I was suprised how much better mine was with a new one fitted.

sorry to steal the thread but I think my maf's on the way out as i've got the usual symptons. but when i unplug it, rather than "pulling like a train" it's quite the opposite. can't hear any turbo spool whatsoever. would this be limp mode?
