hi all been reading on here for a couple of weeks now so thought id post some pics of my mk2 and introduce myself.

my names sean im 44 and am from peterborough do all my own mechanics have done for years had various past cars but this is my first golf got an mx5 mk1 aswell .
got a bit of work to do on the golf

going to make it look a bit more standard
get rid of the grill and the front g60 arches and change the wheels for a start
it got a 2.0 8v with a 1.8 head piper highlift cam 4 branch manifold scorpion exhaust and k&n induction kit and lowered not to sure by how mutch though

thanks for the welcome i hate the teardrops look like cheep wheeltrims to me :sick: just need some cash and will sort out the small stuff that needs doing

Well you'll definitely have at least one friend on here as someone else also has a mk2 and an MX5!

Golf looks pretty tidy.  Your plans for it to me sound like a good idea, that grille looks gash... Looks like it's been lowered by quite a lot, 80mm maybe? is it on coilovers because it looks like it is?
