I'm new to this forum and got the above fault code on my 54 plate mk 5 GTI with 79k miles, which came to light with aircon failing. Started to get a bit intermittent, then stopped alltogether. Thought it needed a re-gas, took it to garage which said it had plenty of gas in but was showing this code which would not re-set. I can hear that the a/c compressor is not kicking in. I took the glove box and other bits out and all I can see in there i.e all the flap motors seem to be working when I change the temp/vent settings. There may be a motor that I can't see however. Does anyone know where V70 motor is, how to check/replace it etc? Also, now I have unplugged the passenger airbag switch in the glovebox and had the ignition on, It shows an airbag fault. Will this reset itself or does it need another trip to the garage to clear that too?
