Right just as an update

The ecu number i gave at the start of the thread has turned out to be for a 2.0 16v (I actually went and got another one from a running car and it has the same main number as the one i already had some of the smaller numbers were diff)

I sent the newer one off to have the immob programmed out of it which was done with no problems put it on the car yesterday afternoon and it still didnt start!!!!

At this point you have to remember i made a loom for the car as its a track toy i then spent the next 3 hours going back through the loom making sure i hadn't made a mistake.

Finally after checking everything i decided it was time for a new crankshaft position sensor that arrived put it in plugged it in turned it over and it runs (phew) plugged in the original ecu i had and it ran for 2 sec so i can only assume the ecu is immob)

So this morning its out on the track being well abused i think lol

Thanks for the help its been very much appreciated
