Just a few pics of what been done....

Fitted my pressed plates and surrounds!!



Fitted the rear spolier, still in the original black. Still unsure on it but will leave it on for now.





Also fitted my doorcards....done a speaker upgrade while I was there....











Also today fitted my number plate lights and put some coolant in it. Also was getting a fault code for the NS front abs sensor so changed it today and now getting a code for the other side. Just gonna leave it for now and get it mot'd. Im hopeful once its gets wee run the abs will sort itself out.

Updates will more or less be daily from now on.

Cheers mate! Looking at the pics now, the rear just dont look right!! Dunno if the plate surround is too much or its that spoiler. Them lights ain't really doing it for me either. Got some cl ones coming though. Sold the blue hellas!! Lowered the back down a bit although its hard to tell as its a slope there.

Yeah there too chavy. I want to drive over there now and rip them off. Well i put the spoiler on cause i thought it would help blend the roof to the rest of the car and match the plastic part off the grille which is also black. But i suspect your right! Needs to be simpler, too much going on at the rear.

I know what you mean, I think its just the fact that the number plate plinth ain't on yet though! As for the lights, maybe red tint film just the indicator lenses, red tint the whole lot, or grey tint the whole lot I ran CLs for a bit on my old car, I feel they they look to low spec to be honest!

I don't agree with the spoiler only looking right with the gti arches, the later spec VR's have the spoilers black and I think they look great, I think why it looks odd is because the roof is black? I reckon you should maybe colour code the spoiler or ditch it?

Yeah need to get that plinth painted. I like the cl as they kind of change the expression of the rear if you know what i mean. Kind of an angry, ''I'm cheap ass and pissed off'' look!! Will tint them after its mot as sold on the red rears.

Also need to get it in better light as right above it is the bushiest tree known to man!!

Interior in just needs a vit of a clean up....





Also had some bother with one of my strut top mounts. Even thought they are new the passenger side one still managed to split for some reason. Have been turning the wheel quite a bit whilst stationary in the garage when fitting wings etc. Anyway got a new one, fitted it but its sits lower than than the one on the driver side. had them both of and compared them and made sure they were fitted correctly but still their is a height difference.

I think the spoiler looks fine m8.

IMO opinion it's hella Reds all the way if not standard cls or DIY all reds. Anything else on a mk3 sucks. Lol glad ur sold n reds!!
