Have you smoothed plastic bumpers before?

if not look up some projects that have done,

I had a go with out doing research and now the filler is held in with hazard tape  :embarassed:

if you have....then make sure you give details on 'how to' so others will know for future

Cars looking good tho, I was thinking about having silver callipers gives it the newness look about it!

Yeah have done some things before, nothing this size though. Will be minimal filler in it. I think what is most important putting the filler primer on thinly, sanding in between coats. Basically I started at 80 grit and worked my way down to 320. Still abit rough but no texture left on it. Was an utter b!tch of a job doing it by hand. But yeah will need to do a write up on it as there ain't much info out there on how to do it right.

Cheers guys.......

Anyway some more pics of todays and yesterdays progress. Got the underside all painted and done a wee bit of rebuilding this evening. Left my camera at home so these are just phone pics and the quality ain't great.

Should have this end fully rebuilt and on the ground in a couple of days.

A few pics of the last couple of days progress.....

Looks almost like a car again....Sitting high but just makes it easier to work on. Coilovers still have around 5 inches of more lows so should sit nice. Think I will need some spacers though. Basically now got to fill her up with fluids and will be ready to fire up. Its pretty much bodywork from here on now!!
