Sort of. It does it HTC's way with their HTC Sense interface which imo is the best experience for an Android newcomer. It's a nice design, has good audio, large screen but not too large to become unusable as a phone (4.7" is pushing it!). It reminds me a lot of current, 18 month old phone with it's Aluminium unibody.
With Touch screens, it's all about the user experience and HTC does that well with Android, Samsungs is too standard android looking, Sony's is too confusing (at least on their older phones).
