Hi guys and gals, been here before but like the dumb blonde I am, forgot login details so have created new account (was a few years back mind).

Have a Mk3 GTI... Love her to bits, but she's poorly again :cry: So here I am wading through the forums looking for an answer to my  intermittant problem.  Only 4.5k away from the 200k miles, made a promise to her she'd make it at least that far, think I've got my work cut out for me this time.

Thanks for the welcome/welcome back guys... Can't seem to find an answer in the forums to my air leak problem so I've posted in the Mk3 forum...Fingers Crossed

And no topher, I wasn't warned about Len last time but thanks... I'll be on my guard  :laugh:

weyhey...  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: thanks to the guys/gals in here and the comprehensive info available, my J reg is rollin happy again.

Relay No30 was my problem, whith the help from forum boards it was the first thing I tried, been running her really hard for a few days now, no problems .... I'm so impressed, think I've saved myself a small fortune on independent garage costs, relay was £15 and only a few mins to change.
