^^  that is a ridiculous reply

why don't VW makes cars that will last 100 years then we will only have to buy 1 car in ours and out children's lives.. the world moves fast so does technology..

Apple computers for instance out live the PC equivalent ten fold..

For what my old Powerbook cost me, and the amount of money its earned me in gigs and events it paid for itself the first couple of weeks of buying it.. it still runs perfect to this day. i just wanted to upgrade to the new one

in a nutshell Apple computer are fooking good and very well made!!!

I'm not Apple's biggest fan as you all know, but their hardware excellent, sexy and even I like it.

GTI_Jamo, Let's not drag this thread down, the man is dead respect him and what he has done, love him or hate him. I will also admit he has had a profound effect on modern technology, would Sir Berners-Lee have created the first web server if it weren't for the NeXTcube that Steve and co. at NeXT created? Would Microsoft have done the original Windows that lead to what most people use now, if it weren't for Apple inviting the Microsoft execs over and showing them what they had stole from Xerox ?

There is a lot of stuff Apple took inspiration from, then created it in their own unique style that has lead to others pushing the boundaries.

I agree very much with what GTI_Jamo is saying.... but unfortunately that is the world we live in.

Without concentrating on apple (or the like) I respect him for his vision and having the balls to do what he wanted to do despite the set backs he came across.

Like it or not.. he changed the world. For good or bad???? thats a discussion for another day

Not looking to drag the thread down, just offering my opinion for all its worth. Not much here anyway lol!!
