This is the first year ive been part of the VW scene, (used to be Vauxhall boy). so i can finally take along a car to 'Run to the Sun' in Newquay without getting dodgy looks from VW owners!
What i was thinking was it would be cool if any1 else going would be up for a convoy of Mk2's?
Meet in Taunton Dean Services or something at an arranged time and then all trundle on down to sunny Newquay? Whatda reckon? be good fun or a bit sad?

oh ha ha i'm not that far then. i live near brighton but got no engine at the moment and am too lame to make the effort if i had one!!!...unless you fancy me in my diesel powered astra!!!

ive got a Mk1 Caddy, Mk2, and a 1969 Porsche Empi Imp Beach buggy.
Where bouts in Bristol you from? im on the A370 Weston road, a small village called Cleeve, near Congresbury?!

Not sure who else is from Weston, my cousin Matt (user name: MALTLOAF) is from Clevedon, just down the road from me, he drives an Mk2 8v.
Is there anyone else on the forum from our area do you know?
we will have to all meet up sumtime? the days of meeting at Cannons Marsh are over now! haha!
