mk1 golf wiring

hiya guys as most of you know im putting a 20vt in my mk1 golf im getting my loom done ( engine side ) by q-peng

now

i obv still have the mk1 golf loom to go in but im no good with wiring diagrammes and theres 2 holes in the bulk head for obv both parts to my loom i dont know what part goes through what hole i can more aless work the rest out as iv marked each wire with maskin tape if anyone has any pictures that would make life a little easyier for me asfor me and wiring just dont go together

heres that plug i was on about and those wires with the female ends also theres 4 male prongs in the plug and i only have 3 female wires lose theres the wire thats coming out of the plug with a female end on it aswell im also not sure were that goes aha

Yeah i've got exactly that connector in mine.  I'll double check the setup of mine after work tomorrow.  :wink:

Mine



Had to drop my fusebox out to see what was going on.

The two thick wires:  Shortest end is plugged into the Crown, Longest end goes through the bulkhead and due to the gauge of it I'm assuming it goes to the battery or alternator to give the crown a more direct link to the battery. Will check in daylight to be sure.

My two small wires plugged into it:  I've got one space used up in the white block (pictured) by two earths that also seem to be providing earth to something on the other side of the bulk head (although it doesn't matter if somethings not plugged into the crown if you've still got spaces on the crown, it's just an extension).

The key point seems to be that the wire in your hand should be connected to the crown and the other end should be going through the bulkhead, to what exactly I will check as soon as I can.
