i have 1999 golf gti, i have had no probs with it but today i noticed a small fuel leak coming from what seemed to be the fuel pump on the right hand side of the tank (as you are looking at the front of the car) when i start the car the leak becomes more rapid. its not too fatal as the exhaust is on the other side. a friend who works for jag says a lot of them are being recalled due to the seem splitting on the pump.
Any body else had this problem???
