Nope i would love to claybar it any recomendations for claybar and polish and wax for my bright red car? Cheers

waxamomo.co.uk is a great site for products.

If you have a halfrauds near by nip in and pick up a meguairs 'smooth surface paint kit' or something like that. That should come with a megs clay bar, megs clay lube and microfibre towel. This is more than good enough for a beginner!

Use some half decent shampoo first, megs gold class is a good choice from halfrauds...and DONT use a normal sponge, pick up a wash mitt and a 2nd bucket to rinse the mitt in before putting it back into the bucket with suds in!!

Then clay it, and then.......wax. I would defo give it a polish before putting a layer of wax on it. Again halfrauds sell autoglym super resin polish which is always a winner.

Wax I would use a cheapish one unless you are really worried about it. The wax is more a protective coating than a 'look enhancer', the polishing will do that!

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_804657_langId_-1_categoryId_165671

That would be a good starter kit to get along with a clay bar kit from halfords and some autoglym SRP.
