I have a flash red mk3 and i just wondered what is a good wax to use i want to keep the colour but not like cutting every time if you.no what i mean and dont want it to mark temrim what do.you use? Cheers josh

whats your preferable method of use? paste, liquid or spray? paste is obviously a better option, to which, dodo juice is worth looking at, although somebody on here will be able to tell you which dj wax is best for your car  :smiley:

tbh ill use what you guys think is best to keep my bright red car red im useing turtle wax atm its good and looks lovely when done but does get on trim and very annoying lol cheers

Fair enough what is best then i just want a wax to look after paint keep it red and dont mark trim :)

at this point, i wish someone with more knowledge than me to reply with a more direct answer for you, lol to which can guide you better

rule of phumb is that the more you spend, generally, the better it is, might be worth buying a better polish/glaze to begin with, you can restore red with a micro abrasive polish as red paint isnt the best to keep its 'goodness'

as for wax, id say dodo juice orange crush

Get in the detailing section and have a noise around.

If you have not used a polish with 'cut' in them before I would suggest it. Also do you/have you clay bared your car, I would recommend this as it will make your paintwork feel like glass. Clay it, polish it, then wax it.

This is a good starting point if you have no experience. If your after a deeper red, or a wetter look then you may want sealants and or glazes. As said before DJ products are great, I love them all have had some impressive results from them!
