Was thinking of upgrading from V6 to V7.
Can I ask, will buying V7 automatically include the 7 digit postcode input or does the firmware need to be updated also?
Found this online for V7.2.

Is this a good deal or is there somewhere that it may be bought cheaper?
For a genuine map with cams that looks like a very good price. There will be rips around for much less money but at least with a genuine disc you know what you're getting.
My pal has the older operating system in his nav so it won't allow the full postcodes even with the V7 maps - how does he update this software please anyone?
He needs software of 2760 or higher to run the V7 maps. No idea what the software needed to run the V7.2 maps will be though, I've lost track of it as it is so fast moving these days!
Firmware is usually available to download on VW Navi, or if like me your DVD burner is kaputt then you need a friendly forum member to loan you a disc
