Ticking?!

Hi all,

just had all my suspension and springs done along with new front bearings and attention to the play in the drivers side wishbone. I've noticed a ticking sound coming from the front passenger wheel n not only is it driving me nuts, i'm a little concerned. Any ideas what it could be? It does speed up and slow down with the car so im assumin its something directly in contact/relation to the wheel. It can't be the bearings as ive just had these changed and its a much higher pitched tick than that of a bearing. Ive noticed that turning to the right produces it more too. Should i be concerned? or is it likely its the new dampers and springs,etc bedding in?

Any help greatly appreciated.

might sound stupid, but i had it once, turned out to be a stone stuck between the tread of the tire, check to make sure you dont have one stuck in there someplace.

This is probably just the backing plate catching on the front disc as the wheel turns, turning to the right has the effect of stressing the suspension and altering the camber to worsen the effect, turning left will lessen the ticking you can hear as the camber is altered to allow more clearance.

Its usually the bottom of the backing plate thats at fault, simply push it away from the disc with your fingers giving it a bit more clearence and that should cure it, some cars have a stone guard there too made from very flimsy steel plate that is easily bent out of shape when working on the suspension.
