Dates we joined to be shown

I dont know if this has been raised before but I think having the dates we joined under our user name would be good.......Any thoughts on this?

where's the rest of the entry? I'm sure it's possible but i don't think its available as an add-on which means scripting it myself.. so you best have a bloody good reason

A date joined and sacking off post counts would be better. High posts can give the wrong impression.

People can join a forum 5 years ago and never post anything, if I am looking to buy something on a forum I tend to look at the post count as to me it shows if they are an active member or on the forum in question a lot.

Does nobody else think the same then.

I look to see if they have a green dot under their name to see if they are an active member or not

I look at the post count too, specially given my location i have to be extra cautious when purchasing from other memebers. I think getting rid would be a bad idea.

As Jay said, the idea of points/thanks is a good idea and something i see on other forums a lot.

Keep the special medals, which identify many posts, lose the post count.

That way Wayne would still feel really important.
