This a good deal? ( PC )

Need a new desktop and have £400 to spend or there about's , maybe £450 tops

Ideally have Windows 7 installed. We will use it mainly for internet browsing, photos/videos , my partner would play games like The Sims , but nothing like Call of Duty ect, as I have my Xbox for that.

Would like it to be quick, quite and lots of room, 1T if possible.

Its not bad but if your not building it yourself i suggest http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/pcs-gaming.asp?idcategory=94 or overclockers they do good work and  for up to £70 more than that 1 you will get a better pc and well built

Well someone suggested that one for me, as myself, I am not great with what is good or bad to be in a PC.

So if I was to build one myself, I would not know where to start, but it does seem you get a much better deal doing it that way

Dino and overclockers have a good range that you can customize ie if you want a bigger hardrive etc have a look you dont have to build 1 was just saying the build quality will be better from Dino and overclockers

Quick question. What would be a good processor be to have now? You have the Intel Core i3, i5, i7 ect

If you arent doing hardcore gaming You wont nothing major an i3 would do what you want it too Personally i would go I5 just in case u do decide to go it all depends on your budget mate http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=94&idproduct=1006 that is a pretty good spec for the money all depends on what you can afford bud if you tell me your budget i could tell u a spec or even ask Jay on here hes pretty clued up with computers also

I highly recommend dinopc. I got my computer from there and customized a few things like better processor, faster ram and better graphics card. Paid £420 last year and it's able to play all the latest games on the highest settings with no lag at all

Yup that is a better choice that khare has posted just phone them u and have the HDD upgraded to a 1b will cost u about 9 quid extra or so

you could probably put one together for less but then you have to fork out for the windows (if you want it legit) which is usally £100 odd plus on its own. unless you go for linux (or alike), which is brilliant for browsing and has windows compatible excel/word ect.

only downside to linux in my experience is i cant play games like command and conquer, so i have duel boot with xp

i recommend overclockers, ive just ordered my case and psu, cant wait to get building.

As he said he doesnt have a clue how to build and Overclockers are good but Dinopc is cheaper
