Why is this happening ? Havnt got a clue about engines only body work

They stay on to aid the cooling process. Should only be a matter of 20 seconds or so.

They stay on even when the ignition is turned and stay on for about 10 mins

the only thing that can keep them running is the senser in the bottom of the rad
(thermo temp sensor)

it could just be sticking just replace it.

Fan control unit near the battery is noted for giving problems

Sorry to highjack the thread, but I'm not 100% sure mine is even coming on at all....
is there a physical way to check

leave the engine running for 10-15 mins it should cut in once up to temp
