My surname, Dolman, is one of the oldest names in existence. It's a Druid name. It means the horizontal stone on the Stonehenge monument.
Some of my relatives were on one of the boats that left the Mayflower Steps (in my hometown, Plymouth), to discover America.
Coincidentally, my mum, who was born in the US, would've gone into Olympic training for swimming, if she didn't have to move to the UZk to look after her sick aunt.
My dad made a small submarine, used by marine biologists, which was featured on a Discovery program years ago.
