I'm going to FMIC as I need it for stage 2 really. Stage 1 should be fine with the Turborevs IC

I found the 50mm piping to get caught at full lock but it was just a tad fatter than the pancake pipe by a few mm, but rubbing was never a major issue as i did nothing damaging to the pipe long term, you wouldn't have noticed wither until you had a look under the wheel. Plus the majority of the 1.8t engines piping is 50mm.

Wouldn't be able to advice you on egr's as I don't have a diesel.

cheers wazzer no worrys thought i would ask i will have to get my self on then of ebay will i need a reduceing coupling from the turbo revs intercooler to take 50mm pipe work wazzer cheers gordon

I think even with the one you have bought it will be interesting!

There really is very little room, the one you got is a twinpass one though ain't it?

No single pass, it has a link pipe that goes back behind the intercooler to the throttle housing. Ceramic coated pipework though  :wink:

Does anyone know if the agu has a 10mm hole for the airflow sensor.I cant see one, how would i block it on the new intercooler ?   :huh:

AGU hole is more like 22mm, VW fitted a blanking plate
