AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

I don't know about the quality. But it would like doing a direct swap with what youve already got.. Not really worth it unless your upgrading with something like a Forge side mount.

Forge is £435 for the side mount and looks like these 2 above. :undecided:

I've heard good things about these and plan to get one myself for my Leon at some point. They are much thicker than the standard intercooler so intake temps will see some reduction over the standard one but wont be as much as a FMIC but to be fair, unless your running big power, it will do the job.

Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

I have one, just as good quality as the Forge item and a bit thicker too. Don't be thinking the Forge one is better quality because it's more expensive

Thanks guys ill be getting 1 of them, maybe the bottom 1 .Do you need to remove the bumper to fit it?  and is it a hard job?  :undecided:

i dont no james but i have got the same job and yes you have to take the bumper of as it is on the front driver side corner my main worry is how much oil will i loose when i unbolt it and how easy are the pipes to get to
