Bischoff, caught on the wrong foot, carefully replies that VW had a solution for the rattling steering wheel adjuster, but it wasn't used in production as it was too expensive. Winterkorn, now visibly upset, shot back: "So why can they do it?" There was no answer.

Got to love that bit  :grin:

I bet a VW member of staff has just placed an order for an i30 so they can stip it to see how there built.

I wonder if the golf mk7 will now be but back from mid 2013 till they work out how to build solid modern cars  :grin:

I rather like the new i30. It looks quite cool.
