Yes, but the Mk5 golf should be compared to the FN2 shape really. The EP3 is nearly 10 years old!

The MK5 came out in 2004. The EP3 came out in 2001. Only three years difference

The FN2 model only came out in 2006, 2 years later than the MK5.

Is that not over 200bhp out of a 2 ltr lump though? what does that big old hunk of 3.2 churn? 240? 250? you would of thought they would of pumped at least 300+ out of it.

It was filmed on iphone (without video, i had it jailbroken) so not bad

Not quite R32, but its still an engine noise rather than exhaust noise (as with most 2.0 4 pots)

For some reason VW kept the 3.2 under tuned but around 250bhp depending on the model, its biggest downfall, should have had 300bhp!
