I've always said this, after driving a few, and thinking... what is the big deal about v-tec?  Doesn't even sound nice or move that fast, just tinny

Over hyped jap crap

Kid next door to me has just brought a civic type r 04reg. Very nice looker, love them wheels . He took me for a spin and wanted to give

me a race in my mk2.

Its got some Mugen air intake thingy and some mugen socks over the brake and pas bottles

He cant drive his type r properly because he is constantly bouncing on the rev limiter, but if he does learn how to harness the VTEC

power, what are my chances of beating him (private track of course) next year because ive sorn the mk2 until next spring.

If your car is standard he will rape you.

The mugen induction kit is £600 new, he did well. If he gets KPRO and an exhaust he will have around 230bhp also, most likely 210 with the induction kit as it is (an extra 5bhp maybe with the socks lol)

id like to see a mk2 or 3 with a k20 swap, or even h22a that should be fun,
