Which bearings?
« on: 30 September 2011, 14:28 »
Hi everyone,  I think I need a new sheel bearing (Front Passenger Side).  As the steering wheel vibrates when turning and it was ever since the wheels were changed.  You can kind of feel the tire shaking.

Whch Bearings are good quality and value for money?

Also how much am I looking to pay when getting this done at a garage (I have been quoted 150 for one)

If you could send a link that would be great!  cars a 1.8 Turbo 2002

it might be worth checking the balance on the new wheel first

Thanks for the reply,  these were balanced out when they were done at the garage, so I imagine they should be fine,

Have the exact same problem!

Tried everything to sort it out and it turned out to be the wheel bearing.

Just not got round to getting it changed yet

But £130-170 ish is about right to get it changed at a garage and you will probably need to get you tracking redone after as well which will be another £30-50 ish
