£726 on alloys on a mk 3 

whats so wierd about that? its fairly cheap. offcourse if i sold my mk3 i would still keep the wheels

Agreed!!!! WTF is that all about! I loved the originals, and wanted to buy a set of the new ones but after seeing the latest pics... no thanks!

16" with 195/45/16's would work on a mk1 all ok.
