Anni's and gttdi's?
« on: 29 September 2011, 19:11 »
Come April next year I can finally insure another golf :) I think it's going to have to be a diesel because my lupo at the minuite is doing great mpg and I couldn't go back to 22mpg that I had out of my 2.slow lol

I'm thinking an anni but I really just want a high spec gttdi, got to 150bhp, 3dr, wanting heated leather seats, air con, climatronic, a centre arm rest and a sunroof. And it's got to be tornado red :)

Does Anyone know if any anni's had a sunroof or a centre arm rest?

If anyone happens to have a gttdi that meets the spec let me know! :)

Anni's didn't have either. Armrest is easy to add, sunroof is a little harder though

I'd go for a high spec GT

You can have lots of goodies such as xenons, leather and most importantly 5 doors

I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

I am swaying towards GTTDI over anni, recaro heated leather seats are just so nice! I love the Anni body work but i suppose i could rip that off on a GTTDI.

A GTTDI is looking to be about 2-3k cheaper than an anni so i'll have plenty to spend modding

IMO The 2 door mk4 is the worst mk4 built! Definitely one of those cars VW should never have made, sorry to all the cabby owners!

was never a real mk4 cabby anyway, mk3 with a nose job

youve made the right choice going for a gttdi, love my recaros, despite what people say they are SOOO much better than the sports seats.

The only issue with the 150pd is they suffer with camshafts problems

the black headlining is a nice touch on the anni's, vw are muppets for giving them all cream headliners

but i don't think they are worth the extra over a gttdi tbh.
