Monza 2 valve help!
« on: 29 September 2011, 17:06 »
Do Monza 2's have different valves or something to standard ones??
Bought some re-furbed Monza II's and today went to get some tyres fitted but according to the tyre fitters they can't fit standard valve's to them!

Went to a few tyre fitters and they all said exactly the same, also went to a local alloy wheel specialist who said he hadn't seen that type of valve fitment for 10 years.

Tried to find a contact number for BBS on their website but you can only leave them an email and also spoke to a BBS stockist who was no help at all.

HELP NEEDED!! ANY IDEA'S

Certain monza 2 rims needed the specific vw metal valve that cost arount £12 each.
Without traction power is nothing!

Yup, it's part no 1K0601361

I suggest you get one in the first instance to make sure it fits correctly.

I have the Ronal Monza II's which have a standard valve but I think one of the bbs versions need a metal valve, as stated by bacillus.
