Some of the polish are exceptionally hard workers, the drivers and drivers mates we had at TNT/Ceva, they'd have the same number of drops as other guys and be first back at base. Probably broke the speed limit and drove like nutters though

Worked with a few polish when i was at Tesco. Brilliant guys, best workers in there by miles! Friendly, helpful and love this country.

Compare countries 7 & 10 ;)

A survey using other countries currency converted to £ to look more shocking.

Not really that simple, £1=4.60 Polish Zloty so you would imagine that things will be cheaper but they're not and the wages are shocking, my mum for example takes home 1300 Polish Zlotych, her bills are about 1000 a month and a weekly food shopping is easily 500 so you do the maths. She has to change her boiler this year which will cost 16000 Polish Zlotych. That's you paying about £3500 for a boiler but having annual income of £4000. By sending £200 back to Poland some people can provide their family with a much needed second income and that's why I do it...

Funny you say that, had a conversation with a bloke and he was saying why am I not spending the money in UK if I'm here and that I should support british businesses, so I asked him why the f*ck is he driving a German car if he's soooooo supportive of british economy, he had no answer...

Back to the topic though, in my opinion there is a lot to blame on the foreign nationals living off benefits etc but to be honest with you the fault of it is with goverment, I never asked for a handout and I never will, it's too embarrasing and it drives me nuts as well that there are people out thier who are milking the system paid for by me and you alike, it's just a shame that none of the political parties seem to have an answer to that problem and they the ones who can make or break this culture...

the problem isnt with foreigners that want to come here to work and do the jobs that the british dont want to do, like sweep up at a building site, clean toilets, make tea, etc, we all know the polish are very hard workers, as someone mentioned above, the money there is shocking, so for them to come over here, work around the clock, and send every bit of money they have home is surely good for the global economy in some way as that is keeping poland going as well? they certainly wont end up like greece

and thats using the polish as a positive example...

now for a negative one?...

the somalians, dirty people, theyve overtaken an area in bham, its dirty, it stinks, theres rubbish everywhere, and generally, most of them arent interested in working

the point being, you cant tar all with the same brush, theres bad eggs in every box, but alot of foreigners do still come over here with no intention of working at all, but just to sponge off the state, so why do we allow these people in?...
