Back To Black - noob question

Hey all

Picking up 2003 mk4 later on today...and I wish to get it back to shiny shiny black as possible?

I've got some turtle wax shampoo from asda as they did 100% extra free.

other than that am a bit lost on the myriad of products out there.. will be popping to halfords tomorrow.

I've heard Autoglym is good and so is meguires....

Autoglym bumper care is really good stuff.

Autoglym Bumper Care is really good stuff, just make sure to really rub it into the plastic as if you leave it to wet it'll streak when it rains.

Waxamomo. Supply these newby's with some 'forever black' will you 

Forever black is trim dye, degrease the trim (properly) apply 3 even coats of the dye.

It dred satin and is not greasy. almost a permanent fix.


OR there is 'black wow' which is applyed like autogrim bumper care

No more greasy trim that has dust stuck to it

I've just thrown some forever black in the bin... I thought it was that bad when I used it that I never touched it again

black wow is good... but not the best

We work with plastics at work, iv just heated mine up with a plastic welder to bring up a fresh layer the plastic then Used a chemical plastic cleaner to refresh the colour, after that a plastics polish and they look brand new, as it's a fresh layer on the plastic, it shouldn't fade or disappear, il try get some pics up if I can! Very pleased indeed!!!!
