Getting well into music production :)
« on: 28 September 2011, 18:17 »
Been a while since I bored you all with my mixes so time to start a new thread with the dnb tunes I've been creating.

After a messy break-up I decided to sort my life out and get down to doing something productive. I've turned an A0 size leaf and am loving being that annoying pro-active person that everyone hates ha!

So here's some of my latest stuff, most recent first.. Working on a bunch more but being freshers month i've got 7 gigs to prepare for in October so production has slowed down somewhat

Looking forward to hearing what you have to say :afro:

Good stuff mate, i used to produce back in the day until i set up studio in a damp basement in Camberwell, the summer was fine but the winter
I cried when my O2R died and lost the will to live when my zip disk ate my album
The only reason i took up my career in engineering was so I could fund a music career, i'd like to give it a shot again but Im too fckn rat raced and car addicted to be able to start up again
Got some classic analogue gear and guitars stashed in the flat still

Finally got some time for  quick listen....except my laptop speakers are wack...despite being marketed at hardon kardon or summat.

Third tune is the strongest for me. Your mastering sounds a bit weird in all the tunes, sounds like too much compression maybe, especially on the drums?

I need to listen on better gear though..if I get the chance I will post again.

Good efforts though, defo above average stuff.
