had a go on it on sunday, didnt really like metro at all, ive a feeling it will be one of the least liked maps, im hoping the large maps will be awesome like they are in bc2, im also hoping the kits are not as they were in beta as i think they got the kits just right in bc2

khare I have to pick you up on a couple of things:

- the markers above your head are only visible to your team mates by default, and enemies only when you've been 'spotted'. this lasts for about 10 seconds. it means if a sniper can see you but cant take the shot, another enemy player will at least be able to take it.

You'll find this feature useful on larger maps if you're pinned down by a sniper. Mark the target and a team mate can take the shot. You'll get points for it. It's all about teamwork, not Rambo style glory hunters.

- as for sniper rifles not killing in one hit, i appreciate its not realistic BUT it doesn't detract from the game play. There's nothing worse than spawning on a squadmate only to be sniped from across the map 2 seconds later by a one-hit-kill camper. Sniping on this game is rewarding, but there is some skill involved (unlike COD)

Just got my GTX 460 installed today so decided to fire up BF3 to see how it would perform.  All settings to high and I'm getting 30+ FPS.  Looks fantastic, I'm seriously pleased

chris, spot on, sniping in bc2 takes some skill especially to get a 1 shot headshot kill from distance, it can take 5 shots just to get the range.
khare you got to realise that if you dont play as a squad and work as a team then your gonna get mullered alot. its not about how many kills you get but how many points you can rack up, eg capturing a flag in conquest is worth more than a kill, resupplying a squad mate is almost half the points of a kill

also reviving a team mate will get you loads of points, on top of deploying health packs.

i havent played the beta for a few days but funnily enough BCBF2 has been a bit laggy for me recently
