Ok, so the 4S is faster, but in real world performance, who's even going to notice it!?

Your so right aswell. If the iPhone 5 was just as fast as my 4 I wouldnt be bothered. It made me laugh when Apple had that bar chart of how long it takes inbetween photos. The 4S is 1.1 seconds fast than a GS2 (or something like that) . . . seriously . . who gives a f**k!? What will you do in 1.1. If they came out and said that the battery will last 4 days then Id be impressed. I guarantee you the 4S will need charging every night like my 4.

This is it. For us 3GS owners the 4S is perfectly out in time for an upgrade. An what an upgrade!

For 4 owners it is not worth it, same as the 4 was not worth it from the 3GS.

When the 5 comes out it wont be worth it for us 4S owners but will be for the 4 owners.

etc ad infinitum

Aye, given past performance it is very much Apple's MO.

Plus as I said before, it's a way to guarantee them a sh!tload of cash!

That gets their method/madness (which ever way you look at it), it wouldn't surprise me if the Ipad2S came out next, or maybe a Ipad3 then a 3S...

There have been enough new things this year they could have thrown together an awesome blow your socks off phone, but didn't.
