Read the reviews, most people on here seem to go for the premium, you get what you pay for. Purely I think because you don't go to the expense and hassle of winter wheels unless your actually going to fit something that is more superior for the conditions than an all weather tyre.
It's your hard earned at the end of the day and it's how much you buy into this bunch of helpful monkeys, magazines, online content providers in lieu of your own winter tyre experience.
I went through the reviews and analyzed where some of the strengths are, I live in the midlands so supreme snow ability is not as high on my list as say ice, rain and wear rate.
